Being young, energetic, athletic and excited by what was happening around him; James was obviously impatient to get things going. You need impatience to push things forward but you also need to temper this by understanding that everything has to happen in the right order.
His IT team were now busy developing additional features for Boogami alongside the other ideas that James was building. His PR team were waiting for a lull in the news before sending out any press releases to ensure his story didn't get buried. The marketing department were therefore having to wait before any marketing launch so that they could benefit from the PR; so essential when trying to create brand awareness and their advertising were waiting for the marketing to kick in.
At last, a date was set to send the first press releases out to local newspapers because they would be more likely to pick up on a local story and as planned James got a call to be interviewed by his local newspaper. PR has a habit of snowballing when the media get hold of a story and within the first week James appeared on Radio Kent followed by excellent TV interviews on both BBC and ITV local news that ran from lunchtime to the late news the same day. This was followed up by Boogami being featured in the top stories on ITV at the weekend.
Within an hour, a Boogami Support Group had sprung up on Facebook and at one point was growing faster than the Wikipedia and YouTube fan groups and traffic to Boogami had obviously gone through the roof.
James Wildish was finally on his way to internet stardom.
A day on the internet is like a week in politics; anything can happen and change for the better or worse in a very short space of time; such is the power of the internet. There were plans to launch and roll out new services to keep the media focused on Boogami. All this had to be carefully managed and coordinated by the management team that James now had working for him. The IT department had deliver new features and services on time so that the PR people could manage the press attention and the marketing and advertising agencies had to be kept informed of developments before and as and when they happened.
David Wildish (James's dad) says. "Within two minutes of speaking to Paul Herbert, I was convinced that the Where On Earth Group were the people to help James turn Boogami into the online success he dreamed of. Everything was clearly explained and they have delivered everything and much more that they promised. I knew James had a good business idea but it would have gone nowhere or taken much longer to develop without their involvement. The first couple of months were extremely frustrating because they wanted to make sure that everything was in place and timed to perfection and then once we launched, we all went on a rollercoaster ride with the press and media beating down our door to speak to James. The success of Boogami has surpassed our wildest dreams."
Paul Herbert, CEO of the Group says. "James is a Golden Child; with proper management, Boogami will just grow and grow. We all have a lot more hard work ahead of us if we are going to turn Boogami into the global success we believe it will be. James may feel he struck lucky by partnering us but we are also exceedingly pleased that he and David chose to work with us. Business opportunities of this quality are extremely rare and Boogami can be developed as a business vehicle for a number of other ideas that we and James are working on."
